<sub>Hitoshi is a man of few words, but he isn't someone to ignore or avoid interaction. He usually has a lax aura around him and is generally receptive of other people even though he isn't one to initiate interactions by himself. When he does, it usually causes the other party to be flustered or disorientated because of his lack and casual invasion of personal space while he maintains his aloof expression. He tends to be forgetful about things or people he is disinterested in, so forgetting people's names isn't new to him at all.

His upbringing taught him to become a level-headed individual and rarely relies on anyone else when problems arise. He has a logical way of thinking and is decisive about what he likes and what he doesn't.. He usually views emotional people as hard to deal with- yet he is tolerant of them as he isn't one to voice complaints about trivial matters unless asked directly. As often he doesn't speak, he has a blunt way with words and doesn't hold back anything when he speaks. At the same time, he is rather impersonal to the feelings of others, and so people getting offended or crying because of him doesn't bother his conscience.

It can be pretty hard to befriend him, but he is very loyal once you earn his trust. Not being the affectionate type, he usually shows his appreciation through more practical methods like gifts or pats on the shoulder. When you do earn his trust, he can be pretty possessive since he only cares for a very few amount of people. In the presence of someone he is close to or comfortable with, he tends to show a bit more emotion than usual, but you'd probably have to zoom in to see the change.</sub>

<sub>Hitoshi came from a well-off family that had certain expectations of him. His mother and father manages their own transport company that delivers goods to be sold in stores. His parents raised him up strictly in order for him to become a responsible adult in the future in order to let him succeed it. Due to his older brother's shortcomings and lack of ability to meet his parents expectations, all of the responsibilities that were supposed to be for his brother went to him and thus, he had his parents watching over his back since his early teens. Growing up in a cold environment caused him to be pretty withdrawn as he didn't make friends his age and spent his days studying or training under his parents' instructions. But since his parents doted on him,he thought that his situation wasn't so bad since he got to see his parents often. And his brother, being his carefree self, set out to do things he wanted to do now that the responsibility of the oldest son was shifted to his younger brother.

Being naturally skilled at most sports and academics, Hitoshi found it easy to do most things his parents expected him of without much effort as he grew up. But still, he isn't a perfect student nor a perfect son unlike what his parents thought of him. The things he did were simply to please his parents and caused them to let him do what he wanted with less supervision than before. And since his parents trusted him, they didn't question him about matters that may cause him to go astray.

At some point in his middle school life, Hitoshi's parents brought him to dinner where he met the son of a family their company had dealings with. In order to keep the close relationship of the their businesses, he was asked to befriend their friend's son, Hajime, and become good friends with him. Since they were both the same age and had similar interests, they became best friends as both went to the same school and usually hung out together. Hajime, being the bolder of the duo, usually invited him to skip classes and play hooky. Hitoshi didn't refuse that much since he wasn't as uptight as his parents thought he would be and also liked having fun in his own way. And since the person he usually hangs out with is the son of a family friend, his parents didn't think much of it.
The same routine played out during high school and it all works out well since he doesn't really care much for what people thought. He only hopes to graduate in peace and be able to do what he was set out to do, all while being able to enjoy his last high school years in his own way.</sub>
